Ensure that you have familiarized yourself with the snorkeling methods as this will allow you to enjoy your moment while in the water.

Ensure that you have marked the location of your partner before you enter the water. It is recommended to snorkel with a partner as snorkeling alone is dangerous in case of any incident while in the water. Memorize the mask color that your partner is wearing to be in an excellent position to identify them from a distance. Also, make sure that your mask is clean before you get inside the water and put some form of defogger to it or you can rub some spit on the inside of the lenses. Pull the mask on your head and leave it peached up on your hair when you enter the water. After everything is set, you are expected to bend your knees, stretch your hands and legs well and then lean forward slowly to float on water. When you have achieved the floating that is needed, kick rhythmically but a pace that you will keep up with for some time. Breathing is needed when you are snorkeling as it helps to improve the movements and to avoid getting tired quickly.
